Formation of business entities under the Companies Act 2013 and the LLP Act 2008, including drafting of constitutional documents and post-incorporation compliance.
Drafting and review of commercial agreements, and issuance of and response to legal notices for civil and commercial disputes.
Registrations and ongoing compliance under tax, food safety, and industry-specific regulatory frameworks.
Fees are case-specific and depend on the nature, complexity, and likely time involvement of the matter. After the initial consultation, you will receive a written engagement letter setting out the scope of work and the fee. LexWiser does not publish fixed prices because legal matters are not commodities.
Yes. The majority of registrations, filings and contract work is conducted remotely with documents exchanged electronically. Hearings, where required, are attended in person by counsel. Clients across India and abroad routinely instruct the practice remotely.
Non-resident Indians and foreign businesses can instruct the practice on Indian law matters. Some matters (such as company incorporation involving foreign directors) require additional documentation including notarised and apostilled documents under the Hague Convention. These requirements are explained at the consultation stage.
Timelines vary by matter. Statutory processes have their own timelines: a trademark certificate may take 18 to 24 months from filing, a private limited company is usually incorporated within 7 to 12 business days, and a GST registration is normally issued within 5 to 7 business days. These are statutory benchmarks, not commitments by counsel.
The initial consultation is a confidential discussion to understand the nature of the matter, the facts and documents involved, the desired outcome, and the work likely to be required. At the end of the consultation you will have clarity on next steps and an indication of fees, if you choose to engage the practice.
